I spent the day before yesterday reading “Vrndavan is my Home”. I confess
I relished every page of it. In fact I stayed home all day reading and
did not do my usual service. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I read the whole book. There are only 190 pages plus a lot of interesting
photos so it didn’t seem to take long at all. In fact I was a little
disappointed when I came to the end but you even thought of that and printed
“Memories of Vrndavan” so we could continue diving in to more Vrndavan
nectar. I found the book difficult to put down and my interest
did not wane at any point. It held my interest in pretty much a consistent
way throughout. Krsna certainly empowered you to do such a nice service.

A beautifully illustrated, well written book. Although I have read many accounts of the construction of the Krishna-Balarama Mandir and of Srila Prabhupada’s final lilas, Vrndavana Is My Home puts everything in a crystal clear chronological order that is a pleasure to read.

My relationship with Srila Prabhupada has become more intimate as a result of reading and thinking about the incredible story behind this lovely temple built for the most beautiful Deities in Vrndavana.

    :

I really like the ending on page 186. BG 18.65 is the whole philosophy in a nutshell. This is an important book because it accurately recounts the history of the temple and how Srila Prabhupada’s firm determination pushed the devotees way beyond their self-imposed limitations. Many years from now, when we have left this planet, it will still be a valuable reference.

    :

I’m writing to profoundly thank you—1st for serving our Prabhupada all this “life” so nicely. Secondly, the Memories of Vrndavana book, as well as the accompanying volume, Vrndavana Is My Home, have churned the oceans of sweetness of remembering Prabhupada even more deeply, & have portrayed how the Krsna-Balarama Temple manifested, from those whom were there. Such a wonderful seva Mata. The movement, nay the world, should be
offering a payment/prayer of gratitude for the debt we all owe you.

The 2 books you sent Mayapriya have enlivened so many of the devotees who’ve seen them here, & deepened their, & our, appreciation for Prabhupada, & have afforded us all a greater understanding of the importance, both historically & practically, of the Krsna-Balarama Temple.

I am writing to compliment you on your wonderful compilation of the book Vrndavana is My Home. It’s like the Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta except that it is only about Vrndavana. I think it is as good as the Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta and in some ways better.

Thank you again for the super excellent book. I will read and reread it and pass it on to friends. You have done something truly significant for Prabhupada’s Movement and Krsna-Balarama Mandira.

    Dear Daivisakti Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I just
received your book “Vrindavana is my home” which I find fascinating,
enlivening and very inspiring. It may be the most important book written by a disciple
of Srila Prabhupada. It is really a masterpiece and I feel very fortunate to
have it in my possession. Thank you for your love and dedication to Srila
    Prabhupada.

    Dear Daivishakti Mata,

    Please accept my respectful obeisances.
    All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

    I just finished your book.

Either I became more purified as it neared the end or the book got better as
    it went along, or both.

It started off nicely and then, as it neared the finale, it seemed to gather
even more momentum and took off for Goloka.

To me the pivotal point was the opening of the Krsna-Balaram mandira and the
effort to staff and sustain it.

From there on-wards, to me, the stream of nectar turned into a torrent,
    culminating in Prabhupada’s departure.

Thank you for your exertion in writing this book.

It is certainly a pillar for the ages.

    your servant,
    Devamrita Swami

    Dear Daivisakti,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Thank you for the two splendid books: “Memories of Vrindavana” and
“Vrindavana Is My Home.” The immense devotional effort that has gone
into them is evident, and they have come out excellent.

The books just reached me here in New York, and tomorrow I am flying to
the UK for ten days and will have to leave them behind. But I look
forward to being together with them again when I return.

    You are doing wonderful publishing.

Thank you again! I wish you all success with all your devotional endeavors.

    Hare Krishna.

Hoping this finds you in good health,

    Your servant,
    Jayadvaita Swami
